This project train women to design gardens that utilize borehole run-off water to irrigate vegetables, cereals and grains crops. The project trained 56 women who works around five borehole gardens. Using farm ponds and canals the conserved water irrigate crops that boost access to food and income for women around the boreholes.
Water Conservation has enabled 56 women around five Borehole gardens to increase their food production capacities and create a new source of income through regular sales of gardens produces.
